Outdoor Tennis

Tennis Calgary’s mission is to grow participation in the sport of tennis in Calgary. As part of that goal, we try to maintain a list of places where people play tennis. This page features a list of outdoor clubs as well as a number of informal groups called Meetups.


Calgary Tennis Club
Address: 1445 16 St SW
Summary: Tennis only. Approximately 500 members. Seasonal private club with six hard courts and three clay courts. Interclub teams available.


Chinook Park Tennis Club
Address: 1019 73 Ave SW
Summary: Three hard courts. Not much going on. Need somebody to help spark new activity. Contact Allison Brown.

Elbow Park Tennis Club

Haysboro Community Centre

Summary: Not really a tennis club. Two hard courts lined for tennis and pickleball. locked to all but community members.

Oakridge Racquet Club

Summary: Tennis, pickleball, squash. Approximately 150 members. Seasonal private club with six hard courts. Interclub teams available.


Rosedale Tennis Club

Summary: Tennis only. Approximately 100 members. Seasonal community club with three hard courts. Interclub teams available. Ball machine available.


West Hillhurst Health Club

Summary: Tennis, pickleball, squash. Approximately 300 members. Seasonal private club with three hard courts. Interclub teams available.


Wildwood Community Association

Summary: Two outdoor hard courts. Locked and accessible to members only. Ball machine available. Some group lessons.


Woodcreek Tennis Club
Address: 36 Woodborough Rd SW
Summary: This is a proposed club. Currently, the Woodcreek Community Association is seeking a volunteer to organize activities at their tennis courts. This location already has a building adjacent to three tennis courts and two pickleball courts. Volunteers are encouraged to contact the Woodcreek Community Association at (403) 238-1611.
